broke - me and the car

I've just felt so tired lately. I can take naps like a pro, but when it comes to staying asleep during the night, I just can't do it. I wake up all the time and toss and turn and can't get comfortable. My running times have been sucky and I yawn and yawn during work which makes the patients tease me. Our car is broke. I got a ride home from the director of cardiac rehab today and he is picking me up tomorrow morning. I was going to try and get the morning off since I can't get to the hospital, but there are two new patients in the morning and as Dave put it, he can't see two people at the same time. I spent two hours orienting a new patient to cardiac rehab today only to discover that her insurance won't cover rehab for congestive heart failure. Sad because she really seemed excited to start. Insurance companies are dumb with all their rules. Time to switch the washing to the dryer.

I only take three because maybe I won't enjoy all of them and then I can swap them out for new ones the next time I go to the library. But in one I discover this priceless add and I am not making any of this up. It goes like this: " Diet hint: Have a soft drink before your main meal . Sugar just might be the willpower you need to curb your appetite. We know it sounds odd - but it can work. Spoil your appetite by eating something with sugar. Sugar work faster than any other food to turn you appetite down , your energy up . Then when mealtime comes, you're less apt to ...

Blueberry Picking

On Friday, Nate and I went blueberry picking. The farm was super close to our apartment... and there were tons of blueberries. The winner and still champion! I picked 1.80lb of blueberries, but Nate only picked 1.78lb. And what did those blueberries turn into? Yummy blueberry crisp.
