Evelyn and I participated in the Three Rivers Festival parade this morning with Girls on the Run. Our group was on the small side; several girls signed up to walk and then didn’t show up. But the girls that did come were super sweet and had great attitudes despite how hot it was. They also completed the assignment we gave them - design a flag celebrating Allen County’s bicentennial. Bicentennial was the theme of the parade. Evelyn’s flag. She wasn’t super excited about designing another flag as she had already created one in school for TV/media studio. I drew the cardinal.
