Catch up

We’ve been busy. Not extraordinarily busy, but I definitely need to catch up with my blogging. So I’m going to post one picture and one sentence for every fun thing that has happened. Cousin spring break was a blast! The eclipse was pretty amazing too.  Evelyn attended a broadway production of Frozen in Toledo with choir.  We went to a TinCaps game and the TinCaps made an exciting comeback to win the game.  Nate and I had an opportunity to attend our very first fundraiser, Sneaker Soirée benefiting Girls on the Run of Northeast Indiana.  We went to another TinCaps game, this time with some of Nate’s co workers.

Spring break

Spring break isn’t over yet; perhaps even the best is yet to come. But we have done a few fun things.  Monday we went for a run and Evelyn and Jameson helped me document 250 miles so far in 2024.  My goal is 1000 miles for the year. We also went to the library and checked out a Pokémon cookbook. We made Oshawott blueberry tarts. We didn’t want to make meringue, so we used cool whip instead but the chocolate for the face didn’t stick very well.  Tuesday we visited the botanical gardens for their Indy 500 showcase.  Wednesday was a slower day. We went to Barnes and Noble so Evelyn could spend a gift card she received for her birthday. Jameson got a new book too.  Thursday we went to the downtown library for upcycled book art. We got to color, cut, and fold pages from old books and create new art.  Friday we went bowling. And waited for the cousins to come.
