Amanda, Isaac, and Joshua came down for the last part of spring break. Everyone was so excited to see each other. They woke up at 5:30 Friday morning! But it was ok because they were all just so happy to be together. Nate went to work and after lunch Amanda and I took the kids to a park where they played and we sat in the sun and talked.
Saturday Evelyn and Jameson were supposed to start park district tennis but both instructors were sick so instead they were able to attend their last basketball clinic. It was scrimmage day and it was just so funny to watch 4-7 year olds play a game. Everyone seemed to understand defense but when they were on offense they had no idea what to do. Dribbling was optional often times.
Nate, Amanda and the boys met us after basketball at the park so we could enjoy some outside time before the afternoon rain arrived.
We played lots of board games too. Isaac and Jameson played chess. I taught Isaac and Joshua sushi roll and sushi go. And the slot cars were a big hit too.
