Saturday the weather was perfect. A little cool in the morning but it warmed up nicely for our hike. We parked at the inn and hiked up to Hell’s Point, the highest part of the state park. Sometime we want to come back and do the Hell’s Point challenge which is a 8 mile hike through the park.
We saw a little garter snake on our way back.
Before heading back to the campsite for lunch, we stopped at the nature center for animal Olympics.
We made a small campfire and had hot dogs for lunch.
After lunch, we set up the hammocks and everyone read for a while. But I wanted to go on another hike before dinner, so we did.
Jameson found a cool feather.
And we found Lake James.
